First in Samarinda, Bank OCBC NISP Introduces Premium Guest House Concept in the Branch Office OCBC NISP’s Branch office with Premium Guest House (PGH) concept is designed to provide comprehensive banking experience that promotes knowledge sharing
Samarinda, 14 March 2023 – After receiving positive feedback in several cities in Indonesia, Bank OCBC NISP once again introduced its innovation in banking and services with the inauguration of its Premium Guest House concept branch in Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The inauguration event was attended by Jenny Hartanto, National Network Head B of Bank OCBC NISP and the management of Bank OCBC NISP, as well as the Chief Representative of Bank Indonesia East Kalimantan and the Head of the East Kalimantan Financial Services Authority (OJK).
In line with the positive economic development in Indonesia, the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of East Kalimantan Province also saw its economy grow by 4.48 percent in 2022. This figure is higher compared to the 2.55 percent growth recorded in 2021. This data showed that Premium Guest House in Samarinda was launched at the right moment to meet the needs of the people of Samarinda for banking services.

Therefore, we introduced the Premium Guest House concept, which prioritises interacting, educating and advising customers on financial management, as well as creating an innovative banking experience. We are very pleased to launch the first Premium Guest House concept branch in Samarinda,” said Jenny Hartanto, National Network Head Bank OCBC NISP.
Jenny Hartanto added, “The Premium Guest House can also become a place for community to gather and build relationship through program activities. Therefore, we look forward conducting the same program with our Samarinda Branch has we also conduct in others branch as well.”
The Samarinda Premium Guest House (PGH) office is the 18th branch to feature this innovative concept that promotes the knowledge sharing process. The ambience is specially designed with facilities such as Welcome Area, Smart Area for transactions, Premium Living Space and Personal Meeting Room for knowledge sharing process to create a banking experience with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The Premium Living Space is equipped with a sofa set and decorated with various paintings and batik patterns to add to its uniqueness. Each area also has a special aromatherapy to enhance the customer experience. This concept has also been introduced in several major cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan and other major cities.
