What is a halal supervisor?
A halal supervisor is a person or team tasked with ensuring that the production, storage, and distribution of products meet halal standards in accordance with Sharia law, from raw materials to production equipment.
Why is it important to have a halal supervisor certificate?
- In Indonesia, a halal supervisor is mandatory for every company that wishes to obtain and maintain its halal certification.
- Provides assurance to consumers regarding the products sold.
- Improves the company's image; companies with halal certification will be more concerned with their consumers.
Terms and Conditions:
- This program is valid for both existing and new OCBC customers who do not yet have a Sharia Giro account (New to Sharia Giro).

- Medium-scale businesses (SMEs)
- Contact a Relationship Manager (RM) or visit the nearest OCBC branch office to open an OCBC iB Giro account.
- You can choose one of the following programs:
- Fund Placement Program:
- Open an OCBC iB Giro account
- Join the Nyala Bisnis service
- Account opening must be completed by November 23, 2025
- Maintain a minimum closing balance of IDR 50,000,000 by November 30, 2025
- Must have a NIB with a maximum business scale of medium.
- Financing Program:
- Open an OCBC iB Current Account
- Use one of the following financing products:
- Commercial Property Financing (CPF)
- Term Financing (TF)
- Demand Financing (DF)
- Minimum Financing Amount of IDR 1,000,000,000 by November 30, 2025
- Join the Nyala Bisnis service
- Halal Supervisor Class participants must meet the following criteria:
- Muslim
- Be appointed by a company (provided the sending company has clear legal standing)
- The company must have an OCBC iB Current Account-
- One participant must be appointed
- Must attend the full-day training for 3 days
- The Halal Supervisor Class will begin on December 10-12, 2025, offline at OCBC Pondok Indah Metro 2, Jl. Metro Pondok Indah B 3, Jakarta, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM WIB
- Detailed class schedule information will be provided via email or WhatsApp blast to the registered contact.
- Participation is limited to 30 participants.
- This supervisor certificate class is free for eligible customers.
- Only those who meet the criteria, account opening requirements, and program requirements will be eligible to participate in the class.
- PT OCBC NISP Tbk reserves the right to disqualify any customer at any time, based on its sole discretion, if proven or suspected of fraud, violating applicable laws and regulations, and/or engaging in other deliberate manipulation related to the program's implementation.
