Jakarta, March 13, 2025 – PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (OCBC) officially announced the launch of its newest branch office carrying the Premium Guest House (PGH) concept in Solo. This is the first PGH branch present in this cultural city, specifically designed to provide a more personal and interactive banking experience. PGH Solo is the second in Central Java after previously opening in Semarang last year.
The branch office located at Jl. Slamet Riyadi No. 310 Solo was opened with the aim of meeting the needs of the Solo community for banking services that are more than just transactions. At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Hendra Kwandou, Region Head of OCBC, stated, “We realize that today's customers are looking for more than just a place to make transactions. They want support in financial management and solutions that suit their needs.”
Based on data from the BPS of Surakarta City, the economy of Surakarta/Solo City in the third quarter of 2024 grew by 5.77%. The presence of PGH in Solo is motivated by the positive economic growth in Solo, which further strengthens the importance of access to innovative and educational financial services. With this concept, Bank OCBC is committed to providing added value through knowledge sharing, where customers can gain a deeper understanding of financial planning and investment.
Hendra emphasized, “Our vision is to be a trusted partner for customers in improving their quality of life. Therefore, customers can also make Premium Guest House OCBC a place for the community to gather to share knowledge and experiences. Knowledge sharing activities that have been carried out at PGH OCBC are many and varied, including local coffee making workshops with various techniques, field trips for schools, eye examinations, to business plan development workshops.”

With the launch of PGH in Solo, OCBC has a total of 27 Premium Guest Houses in Indonesia, reflecting OCBC's dedication to continue innovating for customer satisfaction.
