OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card

OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card as a Payment Tool

OCBC Premier Banking Mastercard ATM/Debit Card can be used as legal tender and accepted by tens of millions of merchants and EDC machines bearing the Mastercard logo worldwide.

OCBC Premier Banking Mastercard Debit Card equipped with features Global Wallet which can be used for cash withdrawals and shopping debit transactions abroad directly from foreign currency accounts without conversion from currency Rupiah. There are 11 foreign currencies that is USD, AUD, SGD, JPY, EUR, HKD, CHF, NZD, CAD, GBP, CNH supported by the Global Wallet feature.

Merchant is an individual and/or company which in carrying out its business activities can accept OCBC Debit Card as a means of payment.

EDC or Electronic Data Capture is a means/machine for swiping cards used as a means of payment at merchant.

How to Transact with OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card at Merchant

  1. Provide the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card to the merchant cashier, and then the cashier will swipe/insert the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card at the EDC machine and enter the payment transaction value.
  2. EDC Will process data on the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card and will provide a response regarding whether the transaction is approved or rejected.
  3. If the transaction is approved or the word "Approval" on the EDC, the payment transaction slip (“Shopping Slip”) will be directly printed through the EDC according to the value of the payment transaction.
  4. Cardholders are required to use PIN for each payment transaction by first checking the transaction value listed on the EDC machine screen. For overseas transactions using the OCBC Premier Banking Mastercard ATM/Debit Card, the Customer can use a PIN or signature.
  5. Failure to check the value of payment transactions by the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card Holder is a Cardholder's responsibility fully. OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Cardholders are required to keep a shopping slip to be matched with the debit to the account made by the Bank.
  6. For every payment transaction that occurs at the merchant, the account balance of the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card Holder will automatically decrease according to the number of payment transactions made at the merchant.

The OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card can be used for the following:

  3. Specifically for OCBC Mastercard ATM/Debit Cards, transactions on the Mastercard ATM network, OCBC Bank Singapore, and MEPS Malaysia:
    • Cash withdrawals
    • Balance check
  4. Cash withdrawal transactions and overseas shopping payments/debits are debited directly from foreign currency accounts without conversion from Rupiah.
  5. OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Cards bearing the Mastercard & GPN logo cannot be used for e-commerce transactions.

Transactions in Foreign Exchange specifically for OCBC Premier Banking Mastercard ATM/Debit Cards

  1. Every transaction in foreign currency in the Mastercard merchant/ATM network will be subject to the exchange rate conversion set by Mastercard International and transaction fees between countries (cross-border fees) of the transaction amount.
  2. For Customers with foreign currency accounts, every transaction in foreign currencies will be subject to the buying and selling rate.

Cardholders need to be aware of:

  1. Sign (according to KTP) OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card on the signature panel on the back of the card with a pen.
  2. PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a secret password consisting of 6 (six) digits required as access to be able to transact in
    1. ATM OCBC , ATM Jaringan Prima, Bersama,
    2. OCBC Bank Singapore and MEPS Malaysia (only ATM/Debit Cards bearing the Mastercard logo).
  3. Cardholders are advised to change their PIN regularly. PIN change (6 digits) can be made at all OCBC ATMs. Memorize your PIN and for your security, don't write down your PIN anywhere or tell anyone.
  4. Each OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card Holder is fully responsible for the misuse of the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card by other parties caused by misuse of the PIN number, either intentionally or due to negligence of the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card Holder.
  5. Cardholders are required to use a PIN for every shopping transaction made at EDC merchant machines in Indonesia. Meanwhile, for shopping transactions made overseas, the Customer can use a PIN or signature.
  6. If the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Cardholder finds an inappropriate or questionable transaction in his account, the Cardholder must immediately report the matter to Bank OCBC for further investigation in accordance with the procedures and provisions regarding complaint handling applicable at the Bank. OCBC .
  7. In the event of a system failure during the transaction process using an OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card, Cardholders may contact TANYA OCBC at 1500-999 (dial 1 for Premier Banking) or +62-21-26506300 (from overseas). Bank OCBC will investigate and take action according to the type of incident that occurred to the Customer.
  8. For information and complaints regarding OCBC ATM/Debit Cards, Cardholders can submit them directly to the nearest Bank OCBC branch office or contact TANYA OCBC at 1500- 999 (dial number 1 for Premier Banking) or +62-21-26506300 (from abroad). The estimated time for the complaint settlement process will be informed by the Bank OCBC branch office staff/Call OCBC .
  9. If the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card Holder wishes not to become an OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Cardholder, the Cardholder may request for account closure at the Bank OCBC branch office and return the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card. owned by Bank OCBC . With the closing of the OCBC Premier Banking account and ATM/Debit Card, the person concerned can no longer use the service facilities available at Bank OCBC .

Lost Card

  1. In the event of loss or theft of the OCBC Debit Card, for the safety of the funds in the account, the Cardholder must immediately contact TANYA OCBC at 1500-999. Based on the report, the Bank will block the OCBC Debit Card.
  2. The Cardholder is responsible for all transactions made using the OCBC Debit Card as long as the Bank has not received a report regarding the loss and/or theft of the OCBC Debit Card from the Cardholder.
  3. For the replacement of the lost or stolen OCBC Debit Card, the Bank will charge a fee for the replacement of the new card to the Cardholder.
  4. After reporting the lost card via TANYA OCBC at 1500-999, the Cardholder immediately comes to the branch for the process of making a new card.

Customer Complaint

  1. The customer may submit a complaint or objection to Bank OCBC orally or in writing.
  2. If the complaint or objection is made verbally, the Customer may contact TANYA OCBC 1500- 999 (press number 1 for Premier Banking) or +62-21-26506300 (from overseas).
  3. If the complaint or objection is made in writing, the complaint must be accompanied by a photocopy of identity and other supporting documents as required by Bank OCBC .
  4. Customers can also submit complaints or objections through the Bank's website at www.ocbc.com or come to the nearest Bank OCBC branch office.
  5. In the event that the Customer rejects the response to the complaint or objection from Bank OCBC , the Customer may choose a dispute resolution through the court or out of court.
  6. In the event that the Customer submits a written objection and/or complaint, the Bank will resolve it no later than 20 (twenty) working days after the date of receipt of the written complaint.
  7. In the event that the Customer rejects the response to the objection and/or complaint from the Bank, the Customer may choose a dispute resolution through the court or out of court.

  4. OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card is the full property of Bank OCBC and must be returned immediately if requested by Bank OCBC with prior notification to the customer.
  5. The use of the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card is fully the responsibility of the Cardholder and Cardholders are prohibited from transferring the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card to any other party/anyone in any way and for any reason.
  6. The validity period of the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card is up to the month and year as stated on the card. If the validity period of the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card has expired and the Cardholder wishes to extend ownership of the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card, the Cardholder may request a replacement for the OCBC Premier Banking ATM/Debit Card at a Bank OCBC branch office. anywhere with an old card and ID.
