On 18 November 2014, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (Financial Services Authority – OJK) issued OJK Regulation No. 18/POJK.03/2014 and on 25 May 2015 the Circular Letter No. 15/SEOJK.03/2015, both regarding The Implementation of Integrated Governance for Financial Conglomeration, as supervisory form towards the implementation of Corporate Governance by Financial Services Institution (“FSI”).
PT Bank OCBC NISP, Tbk (“Bank OCBC NISP”), PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia (“PTOS”), PT Great Eastern Life Indonesia (“GELI”) and dan PT Great Eastern General Insurance are FSI under Financial Conglomeration of Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited in Indonesia. Bank OCBC NISP has been appointed as the Main Entity with PTOS and GELI as sister companies.
As the Main Entity, Bank OCBC NISP is required to implement the Integrated Corporate Governance effectively, which is carried out by coordinating with each FSI and ensuring the implementation of five principles of Good Corporate Governance: transparency, accountability, responsibility, independency and fairness.
