How can customers submit an insurance claim for Tanda Junior?
  1. Customers are required to notify the Insurance Company in the event of a claim, in accordance with the Policy terms, by completing the claim form provided by the Insurance Company and submitting all required supporting documents through the Bank.
  2. The claim submission period for each insurance benefit is 60 (sixty) calendar days from:
    1. The completion of hospitalization (for the insured child), or
    2. The occurrence of death (for the insured parent).
  3. Claims submitted after this period will be considered expired and will not be processed.
  4. The Insurance Company will process and pay approved claims no later than 14 (fourteen) working days after approval.
  5. The Insurance Company reserves the right to request additional supporting documents if necessary.
  6. The Insurance Company has the right to conduct investigations on submitted claims. The Policyholder and/or insured must provide original documents and any required information upon request.
What documents are required for hospitalization claims?
  1. Original Hospital/Clinic Claim Form, duly completed by the Policyholder or Participant (form available on the OCBC website)
  2. Certified copy of hospital receipts along with detailed billing
  3. Medical certificate completed by the attending doctor (original or certified copy)
  4. Copy of identification documents (ID card, passport, Family Card, or other valid documents) of the Policyholder and/or Participant and/or beneficiary
  5. Any additional documents required by the insurer
What documents are required for death claims?
  1. Death claim form issued by the insurer (available on the OCBC website), duly completed by the beneficiary
  2. Copy of identification documents of the insured parent and beneficiary/heirs
  3. Death certificate (original or certified copy). If death occurs overseas, it must be issued by an authorized institution (at minimum, the Indonesian Consulate General)
  4. Medical certificate stating the cause of death (original or certified copy)
  5. Police report or accident report if death is due to an accident (original or certified copy)

Yes, the account can still be used. However, all limits and benefits will continue to follow the Tanda Junior account terms (with limited features).

If the parent passes away, can the Tanda Junior account remain active?

No, the account must be closed if the parent passes away.

If a child already has a Tanda Junior IDR account, can they open another Tanda Junior account in USD?
