Utilizing social media, Bank OCBC NISP seeks extend the spirit of optimism and solidarity for #NyalakanIndonesia through video collaboration with influencers and content creators.
The “#TAYTB – Tidak Ada Yang Tidak Bisa, Bersama Kita Pasti Bisa” video has been uploaded on Bank OCBC NISP’s Instagram account @OCBC_NISP and the Bank’s YouTube account. This video collaboration with Rio Dewanto, Dennis Adhiswara, Ayla Dimitri, Jovi Adhiguna, Fellexandro Ruby, Star Emon, Andovi da Lopez, Jovial Da Lopez, Chandra Liow, Tommy Limmm, Ariev Rahman, Kepin Helmy, Anggey Anggraini, Aries Lukman, Putricaya and Babe Cabita which lasts one minute has been watched 12 million times.
To inspire and build optimism and solidarity with #TAYTB spirit, Bank OCBC NISP invites the people to take advantage of #DiRumahAja's momentum to broaden their insights and knowledge, including financial matters. Therefore, Bank OCBC NISP provides an educational forum for the Indonesian citizen through the #TAYTBLiveTalks program. This program is broadcasted live every Monday and Wednesday at 12.00 -13.00 WIB through Bank’s Instagram account (@ocbc_nisp). It is hope that this program will allow people to obtain information on the latest market and economic condition, business insights and tips on maximizing Banking From Home solutions or other investment tips from Bank OCBC NISP.
"We fully understand that the COVID-19 phenomenon not only presents health-related fears, but fears related to the enormous economic impact in future. For this reason, we invite the community to use the #DiRumahAja lunch time with productive activities to learn, enrich knowledge and skill, including financial knowledge, as well as investing to develop their funds. In addition, as part of Indonesian society which is famous for its mutual cooperation culture, Bank OCBC NISP also invites all citizens to unite and help medical workers by providing a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for medical workers and helping vulnerable communities that are being impacted by the COVID 19 through donation. Bank OCBC NISP partners with the Yayasan Benih Baik to invite public to donate through the crowdfunding platform, BenihBaik.com. Donations collected will be distributed to support the efforts of all parties in helping medical staff to work safely and burdenless, by equipping them with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). In addition, the donations will be distributed in the form of BLT (Direct Cash Assistance) or staple food assistance for the most vulnerable groups that are affected by COVID-19 such as: informal workforce that has no income and need to stay at home to help to support in flattening the COVID -10 spread.
In April 2020, Bank OCBC NISP will distribute around 1,345 PPE for 16 Hospitals/Puskesmas in the Jakarta and Bandung area and distribute 1,620 sembako packages to surrounding communities that are affected by COVID-19 around Bank’s offices in 6 locations in 4 cities (Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya and Yogyakarta). In addition to corporate funds, for this social action Bank OCBC NISP involves employee’s participations through direct donation.
